Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are a fictional team of four turtle mutants, who are trained by their sensei, Master Splinter. They become very skilled ninja warriors. The Manahattan sewers is where they call home. This team of characters fight crime & evil while keeping their identity and existence a secret from society. The characters initially appeared in comic books before being licensed for toys, cartoons, and film adaptations.

The first comic premiered in May of 1984 and the first cartoon series began on December 14, 1987. The first live action movie was released in 1990 (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), 1991 (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze), 1993 (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III), and in 2007, a computer generated movie (TMNT) was released.

Characters:

Leonardo:

Known as the leader. He is courageous, decisive and a devoted martial arts student. His weapon is a Bushido.
Rapheal:
Is the antisocial badboy. He is aggressive in nature and usually is the first to throw a punch. He wields a pair of sai.
Michelangelo:
Is easy going and free spirited. He provides the comic relief for the group. His weapon of choice are a pair of nunchaku.

Donatello:
Is a brilliant scientist, inventor, engineer, & technological genius. He is the most nonviolent of the group and uses the bo for a weapon.
