A Journey Together...

I was contacted about a month ago to customize a set of cupcakes for a marriage proposal. Custom cupcakes in my definition is more than just clever decoration. It's about presentation. My client gave me free reigns on this project so ... I went nuts!

The cupcake box was made by altering a decorative wooden suitcase, adding accents of colors and framing photos. In order to set the cupcakes in place, I made cupcake wrappers to permanently attach at the bottom of the case, turning them into cupcake place holders. I kept the decoration of the cupcakes simple as to not take away from the over all message. I really loved working on this project. Thank you and enjoy the journey!

Becoming Mrs. Ichikawa

The No.1 hazard of a cupcaketeer is the on occasion emotional ride. We get whisked away in someone else's fairytale and we secretly get to claim a small part of their happiness as our own. Congratulations Lisa & Trevor!

Black & Gold Wedding

Congratulations to Linnette & Victor, who are probably on their way to Cancun right now for an awesome honeymoon vacation. For their wedding, they displayed a "sweets table". Among the goodies were my mini cupcakes: Chocolate, Oreo Surprise, Strawberry Shortcake & Banana Nut. ENJOY!

Naughty Bachelorette Cupcakes

A really cute pink & black theme party guest starring Big Blue & Sultry Scarlett. Okay...so they're just really flexible & really busy stick figures. I toned it down a bit with some margarita & diamond ring cupcake toppers. They seem to fit nicely into the package. Flavors featured are B-B-Bananas (made with Malibu Banana Rum), Red Velvet & Strawberry Shortcake. ENJOY!

Winter Wedding Bliss

It was more than a fairy tale, it was a dream come true. A gorgeous room filled with frosty winter silver and iridescent blue highlights glistening throughout. Thank you Nga & Eric for choosing Animated Cupcakes. 200 Red Velvets & 200 Hot Chocolate cupcakes were proudly displayed under a beautiful canopy stage. A special thanks to all that helped out the night before with pastry decorations. =)

A Touch of Pretty

I recently found these dainty little flowers at the local cake supplier! I loved them on site! They are completely edible, made with gum paste and colored delicately, adding the perfect simple beauty I needed for these cupcakes. Enjoy!

Tell Me A Fable...

My role in a beautiful story. On December 19th, I will have the honor of delivering these cupcakes to become part of a fairy tale wedding. Stay tuned. This is only the beginning.
